Habibi International, a non-governmental organisation (NGO) led by Singaporean Willy Tan, serves some 50,000 Yazidi refugees and internally displaced persons in camps around Zakho city in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.
Volunteers and full-time staff provide free healthcare and education services, including orthopaedic surgery, dental care and even Zumba classes.
